What is strange and heartbreaking is that I keep losing you. I encourage you to check back, if you care, because these posts are for you now.

It's strange, maybe heartbreaking in a way
What you find when you google your own name

Here I am, still, after all of the days
Propelled by the cadence of your heart beats
Wandering like a somnambulist to
The meter of your every waking breath
Transfixed as it crystallizes mid-air
Lingers like spray from cold open oceans
Tangled in the delicate web you've spun
Anchored only by a strand of red thread
By which I can feel the warmth of each blow
Through the endless void of pale ocean blue
That glittering blackness of starlit space
That brings to mind your newly opened eyes
When they are still unaware if what they see
Is real, or part of some forgotten dream

I ebb along, ever content to watch
The tide kiss your feet as you walk the beach
Where gunmetal-grey dawns disintegrate
Into the delirium of evening
When everything turns blue for you
And your worries drift away into space
(You dream something deeper than my madness)

You're right, human beings do seem to resemble monsters at times. I am greatly disturbed not only by the cruel meat industry, but by images of cruelty and death, animal cruelty in general, that I have seen. Many times I wish I had remained ignorant about such things, but the truth is, it exists. It's good to know that there are still a few conscientious people like yourself out there though.
One thing I wanted to mention though, some studies show that humans did not evolve to be carnivores. Anyhow, thanks for the interesting post.

Hi.
Zeitgeist really opened my eyes. Even though I don't think it was some huge-ass conspiracy that has spanned ages, I do think that it really shows how people need to wake the fuck up, and stop being taken in by the bullshit we're fed by the powers that be. At least half of what we hear and/or are told is totally false, or, almost worse, completely irrelevant, designed to distract us from the truth. I'm constantly so frustrated with illogical and irrelevant people who believe anything they're told and are content to live their lives feeding off of their TV's, concerned more about who is dating whom in Hollywood than who is leading our nation and where our fucking disaster of a modern world is going.
Not that I hate the world or life. It kicks ass. The little things, anyways. It's the big shit that blows.
